The educational process at the college is an integral part of the educational process and is based on universal human values, the cultural values of the Ukrainian people, the values of a civil (free, democratic) society, the principles of the rule of law, respect for the rights and freedoms of the individual and citizen, and so on.

The aim of educational and extracurricular work is to form a citizen through his or her political, legal, moral and ethical, labour, economic and cultural education, and through practical participation in socially significant activities.

The content of educational and extracurricular work provides for a student-centred national model of upbringing aimed at the mechanism of self-realisation of the individual, the development of national dignity in young people, and the acquisition of universal human and national values, and it defines the directions of humanistic educational activity at the college.

It ensures the fulfilment of the tasks of national and patriotic, moral and ethical, environmental, artistic and aesthetic, and civic education of student youth, and contributes to raising a harmoniously developed, highly educated, socially active and nationally conscious individual with a deep sense of civic responsibility, high spiritual qualities and patriotic feelings.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXTRACURRICULAR WORK AT THE COLLEGE IS CARRIED OUT BY:

• group tutors;

• dormitory supervisors;

• the cultural events organiser;

• club leaders;

• the Head of the Dormitory (in terms of educational and extracurricular work);

• the physical education supervisor (in terms of educational and extracurricular work).

STRUCTURE OF EDUCATIONAL AND EXTRACURRICULAR WORK:

• education during classes and tutor hours;

All educational activity of the college is based on the principle of the unity of teaching and upbringing. Therefore, educational and extracurricular work in its various forms is carried out in two main ways – through the educational process and outside study time. All participants in the educational environment work on the task of fostering in the younger generation a strong patriotic consciousness, a sense of devotion and love for the Motherland, care for the well-being of their native people, readiness to fulfil their civic and constitutional duty and to defend national interests, and the integrity and independence of Ukraine.
