On 30 September, the college held the interactive online event “The Strength That Holds the Country Together”, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine and the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks. This time — without the usual “the host speaks, the students listen” format.
The Zoom meeting turned into a lively dialogue with the audience: students answered in the chat, used reactions, and took part in a “True or Myth?” format, a blitz quiz, interactive exercises and discussions.
The organisers and hosts of the event were Anastasiia Kryvchenko, lecturer of the Subject Committee for Computer Technologies and Software Engineering, and Oleksandr Muravskyi, lecturer of the Subject Committee for Social Sciences and Humanities.
Students also actively joined in holding the meeting. The speakers were Oleksii Moisieiev and Maksym Shtrakhov, students of group 3KS-61, as well as Veronika Yuzik and Alina Mykhailenko, students of group 4RP-10.
The participants talked about what Ukraine means to them, what a true defender should be like, why freedom is always linked to responsibility and how each person’s future profession can be useful to the state.
What was especially valuable was that the students were not just listeners — they became active participants and co-authors of the event. This format showed that modern educational work can be lively, dynamic and meaningful, and that the online space can become a platform for genuine dialogue, reflection on important topics and the formation of young people’s civic awareness.
We remember. We thank. We are raising a generation that values freedom, knows its history and is ready to build the future of Ukraine responsibly.
