EPP “Maintenance of Computer Systems and Networks”

Aim: to train highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology with competencies in the design of universal and specialised computer systems, networks, computing complexes and microprocessor devices; the creation of applied and system software that takes into account the features of modern operating systems and hardware; the creation and management of databases; the maintenance and operation of computer systems and networks; and the organisation and management of project work in the IT field.

Main focus: principles, methods, hardware and software tools and technologies for the creation, use, modernisation and maintenance of computer systems and networks and their components.

Compulsory components: fundamentals of computer technology, materials and component base, computer graphics, programming, computer electronics, computer architecture, computer circuitry, operating systems, computer networks, fundamentals of software engineering, maintenance and repair of PCs, fundamentals of computer-aided design, electrical and radio measurements, microprocessor systems, computer system design technology, applied theory of digital automata, occupational safety, placements.

EPP “Computer Graphics and Web Design”

Aim: to train specialists capable of solving typical tasks and specialised problems of professional activity in computer graphics and web design; developing measures to improve the efficiency of technological processes and the maintenance of software systems and complexes, taking into account the rapid development of innovative processes.

Main focus: development and implementation of information technologies, software development, administration of software systems and complexes; computer graphics and web design.

Compulsory components: programming, computer electronics, computer architecture, computer circuitry, operating systems, computer networks, fundamentals of software engineering, object-oriented programming, Internet application programming, fundamentals of artistic graphics, cross-platform web programming, computer graphics in web-oriented systems, fundamentals of visual design of web projects, fundamentals and standards of information security, occupational safety, placements.

EPP “Security of Computer Systems and Networks”

Aim: to train specialists capable of solving typical specialised tasks and practical problems of information security of computer systems and networks, and of monitoring the protection systems of the information and cyber spaces of individual entities and their infrastructure against the risk of external cyber influence. Qualification — Professional Junior Bachelor in Cybersecurity; opportunity to obtain international information security certificates.

Main focus: protection systems for ensuring the information security of computer systems and networks, taking into account legal validity, administrative and technical implementation, economic feasibility, possible external influences, probable threats and the level of development of information protection technologies.

Compulsory components: fundamentals of computer technology, fundamentals and standards of information security, computer graphics, programming, computer electronics, computer architecture, security architecture and models, operating systems, computer networks, fundamentals of software engineering, technical information protection systems, information security management, information and coding theory, cybersecurity in infocommunications, computer system design technology, security of computer systems and networks, occupational safety, placements.

Employability

Professional activity as a specialist in the development of computer systems and networks, mathematical, information and software support of information systems, in the field of information technology, and as a database and systems administrator.
