28 October – Day of the Liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi Invaders

We bow our heads in gratitude to all who gave our land freedom. On 28 October 1944, Ukraine was completely liberated from the Nazi occupiers – this day became a symbol of courage, indomitable spirit and boundless love for the Motherland.

On this day of remembrance, students of group 2KS-61, together with their group tutor Anastasiia Kryvchenko, went on an excursion to Victory Park – a place where history comes alive in every step, in every glance at the memorials, in every minute of silence.

During the excursion, the students:

— Learned about the history of the liberation of Ukraine

— Honoured the memory of the heroes who fought for peace

— Discussed the significance of this date for the present generation

Such events contribute to:

— Shaping patriotic awareness

— Deepening knowledge of the history of Ukraine

— Strengthening the student community

— Appreciating the value of freedom and unity
