On 22 January, Ukraine celebrates Unity Day — a symbol of the unity and indomitability of our people.
It was on this day in 1919 that the Act of Union of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic was proclaimed – a historic step that affirmed the aspiration of Ukrainians to live in a single, united state.
Despite the difficult realities of today — war, power and heating outages, frosty weather and distance learning — the students of our college continue to hold the educational and spiritual front.
On the eve of the holiday, group tutor Anastasiia Kryvchenko and her group 2KS-61 held a themed tutorial hour dedicated to Unity Day of Ukraine.
In a warm atmosphere of shared discussion, the students recalled the historical events that became the basis of national unity and reflected on how important it is today to stay united and support one another.
For the students of our college, this tutorial hour was a reminder: even in the hardest times we remain united, indomitable and ready to fight for the future of Ukraine.
