Lecturer Serhii Irichenko organised an unforgettable excursion for students to the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Odesa. It became a genuine educational event that combined culture, history and modern technology.
Behind the scenes of grandeur
The participants were able to:
- see how the stage and the complex mechanisms of its transformation are arranged,
- learn about the rich history of the theatre and its architectural features,
- become acquainted with the air conditioning system and the engineering solutions that ensure the comfort of the audience and the performers.
Students from different groups, as well as lecturers, took part in the excursion.
This event became not only a cultural discovery but also a lesson in patriotism and pride in the Ukrainian heritage. Students and lecturers gained valuable knowledge about one of the symbols of Odesa, which is part of the national cultural treasury.
The excursion proved that educational activities can be at once useful, modern and inspiring, fostering love for one’s native city and Ukraine.
