On 16 October, the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference “KyivTex&Fashion” took place at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
The aim of the conference, which brought together specialists from the textile and light industries, was to promote the exchange of scientific achievements and the discussion of practical experience in implementing innovative technologies in fashion and manufacturing.
Nataliia KUZINA, a lecturer of the Subject Committee for Specialised Light Industry Courses of the Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU”, took part in the event and presented a report on “The Impact of Postpartum Changes on the Foot and the Design of Orthopaedic Adaptive Footwear”. Her report drew attention to the importance of foot adaptability, the role of orthopaedic elements and the selection of materials to ensure comfort and to prevent deformities. Nataliia KUZINA’s presentation successfully combined theoretical analysis with applied recommendations for the further improvement of ergonomic footwear design technologies.
