A cultural and educational local history event for dormitory students from lecturers of the Subject Committee for Philology Courses – Alina Oleksandrivna Riaba and Oleh Pavlovych Khil!
Great thanks to the students of group 3TT-26 who helped to organise and run this event, namely: Kseniia Pryshchepa, Oleksandra Burmistrova, Kateryna Todorova, Alina Murenets and especially Denys Bernatovych! An evening filled with English charm, excitement and positivity!
Today our dormitory turned into a real journey to the heart of Great Britain – a country of ancient castles, foggy London streets and unique British colour!
During the event “Discover the Magic of Great Britain”, the students demonstrated not only their knowledge of the culture, traditions and history of the United Kingdom, but also incredible activity, quick wits and team spirit!
Over several rounds, the participants:
formed their own teams and came up with creative names;
assembled the flag of Great Britain – the Union Jack ;
matched the countries and capitals of the United Kingdom;
solved crosswords and riddles in English;
played “Crocodile Game” and showed excellent acting skills;
competed in a music contest and showed real British drive!
The highlight was the “Super Game” for team captains, where emotions ran high and the teams supported their leaders with loud applause! And the most pleasant moment of the evening was the prize for the winners – sweet treats, because a good game and positive energy always deserve a tasty finish!
The event brought a sea of positivity, good mood and even more love for the English language and the culture of Great Britain.
May such meetings inspire new discoveries and friendly victories!
