On 30 November, with the support of the Goncharenko Centre and the NGO “TOBIFINE COMMUNITY”, a master class on making mini bags was held, led by specialised-courses lecturer Natalia Kuzina. The event gave participants an opportunity to become acquainted with the leather goods industry and to master the basic principles of creating accessories by hand. The participants worked with natural materials, learned to use special tools and studied the key stages of production: making patterns, preparing the parts, sewing and finishing the item. The master class provided practical skills and showed the prospects for professional development in the fashion and accessories industry. Each participant made their own mini bag, gaining first craft experience, self-confidence and a desire to improve. The event demonstrated the value of modern crafts and helped to build an interest in light industry – a sector that needs new specialists and creative ideas.
