From 6 October 2025, a training measuring and design placement began in the workshops of OTPC ONTU for students of group 3MKh-59, specialty 142 “Energy Engineering”, educational and professional programme “Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Compressor Machines and Units”. The placement supervisor is industrial training master Andrii Oleksandrovych Chernenko.
The aim of the placement is to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained in studying the basic technical courses, such as:
• “Engineering and Computer Graphics”;
• “Theoretical Mechanics”;
• “Materials Science”;
• “Technology of Structural Materials”;
• “Fundamentals of Metrology and Standardisation”;
• “Strength of Materials”;
• “Fundamentals of Design”.
During the placement, students carry out measuring, drawing and design tasks, become familiar with the operation of compressor equipment, develop technical thinking and acquire their first practical skills needed for future professional activity.
