As part of Ecology Week, on 06.11.25 the lecturers of the Subject Committee for Food Technology and Chemistry organised and held the event “Screening of Environmental Films”.
The aim of the event was to draw students’ attention to current problems of environmental protection and to foster an ecological culture and a responsible attitude to nature and to one’s own way of life.
During the event, the students watched the work of Mykhailo Kulakovskyi, a student of group KH-10, which took first place at the regional review-competition of environmental video projects on the topic “Phosphorus Shells. A Hellish Weapon”, and the documentary film “Why Forests Are Disappearing. How the War Has Changed the Environment”.
After the screening, the students discussed what they had seen, sharing their impressions and thoughts on possible ways of solving environmental problems in the modern world.
The event contributed to developing ecological thinking, fostering ecological awareness and shaping an active life position among young people.
