Participation of students of the Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU in the final of the 3rd All-Ukrainian Professional Skills Competition in specialty G15 Light Industry Technologies.
The event, devoted to an important and topical subject — the design and manufacture of an adaptive light industry product — took place on 14 May in Kyiv at the Kyiv Professional College of Applied Sciences.
The competition entries were assessed by an authoritative expert jury, which included representatives of leading industry enterprises, Tetiana IZOVIT, Chair of the Board of the Ukrlegprom Association, and Viktoriia MYTSIA, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at Khmelnytskyi National University.
Before these demanding experts, the Odesa students demonstrated high skill, creativity and a truly innovative approach.
By decision of the panel of judges, representatives of the Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU received the following awards:
1st place in the category “Accessories” — Kristina BUTUK (2nd year, EPP “Fashion Industry”, group 2MI-05) — Winner’s Diploma;
3rd place in the category “Accessories” — Anastasiia ODNOSTALCHENKO (2nd year, EPP “Fashion Industry”, group 2MI-05) — Winner’s Diploma;
2nd place in the category “Footwear” — Kira MOKRA (3rd year, EPP “Fashion Industry”, group 3MI-04) — Winner’s Diploma;
2nd place in the category “Garments” — Diana OSTAPIUK (3rd year, EPP “Modelling and Design of Industrial Products”, group 3MK-23) — Winner’s Diploma;
Oleksandra MEDVEDKOVA (3rd year, EPP “Modelling and Design of Industrial Products”, group 3MK-23) — Diploma for innovation in adaptive clothing in the category “Garments”;
Yeva ROTAR (3rd year, EPP “Modelling and Design of Industrial Products”, group 3MK-23) — Participant’s Diploma in the category “Garments”.
Behind these high achievements of the students stand the hard work and professionalism of the lecturers and the work training instructor of the Subject Committee for Specialised Light Industry Courses. The supervisors and mentors who prepared the talented young people for the competition were Polina KUZNETSOVA, Nataliia KUZINA, Yana LANOVENKO, Yuliia CHUMACHENKO and Olena VOVK.
We express special and heartfelt gratitude to the organisers of the competition — representatives of the Kyiv Professional College of Applied Sciences, represented by the College Director Hanna SHCHUTSKA and Maryna KOLOMIIETS, Head of the Professional Methodological Association of lecturers of specialty G15 Light Industry Technologies — as well as to the entire administration and teaching staff for organising and holding such a large-scale, professional and socially significant event.
