On 29 June 2024, a solemn presentation of diplomas was held for Professional Junior Bachelors and Bachelors who successfully completed their studies at the SSD “Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU”, having overcome significant difficulties during the COVID quarantine and the full-scale military aggression of the invading country. Despite the challenges they faced, the graduates were able to complete their studies with dignity and obtain their diplomas.
The diploma ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere, bringing together students, lecturers, parents and friends. The graduates were congratulated on their achievements, with their resilience, perseverance and commitment to their goal noted. Director of the College Liliia IVANOVA, addressing those present, stressed the importance of education and the role of the graduates in the future revival of the country.
The graduates shared their impressions and memories of studying during difficult periods. They recalled the challenges of distance learning, power and internet outages, as well as the danger and anxiety associated with military aggression. Despite these difficulties, the students demonstrated a high level of adaptability and mutual support.
Many graduates expressed gratitude to their lecturers for their support, patience and professionalism, which helped them acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. They also noted the importance of the support of family and friends, which was an integral part of their success.
This graduating class became a symbol of resilience and hope for a better future, as well as proof that education remains a powerful instrument of change, even in the hardest of times.
