On 28 November 2024, a webinar on “Methods of Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining” was held, organised for students of the Computer Systems Division.
The speaker at the event was Selivanova Alla Vitaliivna, Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technology and Cybersecurity of the Faculty of Computer Engineering, Programming and Cyber Defence of the P.M. Platonov Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Systems and Technologies “Industry 4.0”.
The webinar addressed the following topics:
- modern methods of artificial intelligence and their practical application;
- principles of data mining;
- prospects for the use of AI in cybersecurity and programming;
- challenges and trends in processing large volumes of information.
Alla Vitaliivna shared her experience of implementing AI technologies in various projects, outlined the key tools for data analysis and gave practical advice to young researchers.
Students took an active part in the discussion, asked questions and shared their own ideas, receiving expert recommendations.
We thank the speaker for the inspiring lecture and the participants for their activity! The event was an important step in developing students' competences in the field of artificial intelligence and information technology.
