On 05.12.2024, students of specialty 123 “Computer Engineering”, together with the lecturers of the Subject Committee for Computer Technologies and Software Engineering Kryvchenko Yu.V. and Kryvchenko A.A., visited the enterprise “NOVATEK-ELECTRO”, one of the leaders in the development and manufacture of electronic devices and automation systems in the Odesa region.
NOVATEK-ELECTRO LLC is also a base for work and technology placements of students of specialty 123 Computer Engineering.
The tour began with an introduction to the history of the enterprise and its main areas of activity. Company representatives spoke about current trends in the production of electronic systems, the introduction of innovative technologies and the importance of process automation in various industries.
The participants were able to become familiar with:
- production workshops and laboratories where household and industrial electronic devices are created;
- modern technologies for designing and testing equipment;
- examples of finished products used in the energy sector, transport, industry and other fields.
The students also spoke with the company's engineers and developers, who shared their professional experience, spoke about the challenges that arise in the process of development and production, and answered numerous questions from students and lecturers.
Such events are extremely useful for students, as they make it possible to see the practical application of the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies. In addition, this is an excellent opportunity to understand the specifics of working in modern technology companies and to identify promising directions for professional development.
