Congratulations to the first prizewinners of Stage II of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine!

We are proud of another achievement of our talented students! Students of group 2MK-23/2MI-04 successfully presented their research papers at Stage II (regional) of the competition of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which was held online.

Daria Ariestova and Veronika Parkhoniuk demonstrated a high level of preparation and joined the ranks of the winners, earning honourable third places among the most significant young researchers of the Southern region in their research areas. It is especially valuable that the girls managed to skilfully combine in their research two different worlds – medicine and their professional interests, the fashion industry and the modelling and design of industrial products.

Daria presented a paper on the topic “The Influence of Clothing Colour and the Learning Environment on the Performance and Fatigue of Students of Professional Pre-Higher Education” in the section “Health Care”.

Veronika defended a topical study, “Motivational Factors of Students of Professional Pre-Higher Education for Adopting a Healthy Lifestyle Under Martial Law”, in the section “Medicine”.

This success deserves special attention, given that the students are mastering the medical field in parallel with their main area of training. Their example clearly shows that, with genuine interest and perseverance, one can achieve high results even in a field that is new to oneself.

The research was carried out at OTPC ONTU under the academic supervision of Andrii Dobrovolskyi, a doctor and lecturer of the subject “Fundamentals of Medical Knowledge and First Aid”.

Participation in the Junior Academy of Sciences competition is an important stage in the development of future specialists, as it provides an opportunity to develop research skills and to present the results of one’s own research. Such interdisciplinary studies are especially valuable because they open up new prospects at the intersection of different fields of knowledge.

We congratulate our talented students and their supervisor on their successful performance and wish them further success in the field of science! Their example inspires and shows that true talent knows no limits or restrictions.
