On 9 December, the subject committee for specialised refrigeration courses held the annual professional skills competition “Best Fitter – 2025”. The event became a real test of skills, knowledge and endurance for students of groups 2MKh-60 and 2KV-12.
The competition took place in a dynamic yet tense atmosphere. The participants demonstrated not only manual dexterity while completing two practical tasks, but also the depth of their professional knowledge during a theoretical examination. Every stage required maximum concentration, precision and responsibility – just as in real production work. The tasks included: identifying and correctly using tools; marking out and measuring a workpiece; sawing along the marking; drilling holes; filing holes and surfaces; and bringing the surface of the product to a high-quality finish.
The supporters did not stay on the sidelines either. While the contestants competed for victory, the support groups showed their creativity in an artistic contest, earning extra points for their teams and creating a true celebration of unity and support.
The quality of the completed work was assessed by an honorary jury. Following the results of all the competition tasks, the victory and the honorary title “BEST FITTER OF 2025” were won by SIDENKO OLEKSII, a student of group 2KV-12.
A particularly fierce battle for second place unfolded between students of group 2MKh-60 – Hlib Zhyhalov and Dmytro Mazur. Thanks to a combination of professional skill and the support of the spectators, the “silver” was ultimately won by Dmytro Mazur.

All participants received valuable prizes – professional tools that will certainly come in handy in their future professional work.
The competition gave the support teams vivid emotions and a good mood: they enjoyed following the course of the contest, cheering actively for their friends and charging the participants with the energy of team spirit.
The competition proved that healthy competition, perseverance and mutual support build the true skill and confidence of future professionals.
