On 09.03.2023 an online meeting of the Professional Methodological Association (PMA) for specialty 142 “Energy Engineering” was held at the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Centre of Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education” of MESU.
Those present at the meeting were: the Head of the Scientific and Methodological Office of Engineering, Technical and Technological Education of the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Centre of Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education”, methodologist Volodymyr Ivanovych Shevchenko, and methodologist, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Yurii Oleksandrovych Borkhalenko.
Also present were representatives of 9 institutions of professional pre-higher education in Ukraine that train Professional Junior Bachelors in specialty 142 “Energy Engineering”. These are the Separate Structural Subdivision “Odesa Technical Professional College of ONTU”, the Separate Structural Subdivision “Novoushytsia Professional College of Podillia State University”, Dnipro Professional College of Construction and Installation Technologies and Architecture, “Kharkiv Professional College of the Food Industry of the State Biotechnological University”, “Kamianets-Podilskyi Professional College of the Food Industry of NUFT”, the Separate Structural Subdivision "Poltava Professional College of NUFT”, Oleksii Solianyk Odesa Maritime College of the Fishing Industry, the Separate Structural Subdivision "Technological and Economic Professional College of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University", and Drohobych Professional College of Oil and Gas.
The Head of the PMA, Iryna Volodymyrivna Berkan, presented for consideration an indicative educational and professional programme “Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Compressor Machines and Units”, an indicative schedule of the educational process and an indicative curriculum for training Professional Junior Bachelors.
Those present gave considerable attention to the work of compiling electronic textbooks for the courses. For this purpose, 8 working groups were set up, which include lecturers of specialised courses - representatives of various educational institutions. The methodologists of the “Scientific and Methodological Centre of Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education” of MESU gave recommendations and explained the requirements for electronic textbooks as a whole and for their components. Samples of the best electronic textbooks in other specialties were demonstrated.
The meeting of lecturers from educational institutions in various cities of Ukraine and methodologists of the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Centre of Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education” was substantive and very useful.
