From 23.02.2026 to 20.03.2026, a training placement for students of group 3MKh-59 took place in the training and production workshops of OTPC ONTU, aimed at acquiring initial professional skills in a skilled trade. Over four weeks, the students:
- mastered the purpose, design and operating principle of the compressor equipment and heat exchangers of refrigeration units;
- carried out practical work on joining copper pipes;
- acquired skills in the repair and operation of compressors, evaporators, condensers, pumps and other auxiliary equipment;
- studied the electrical circuits of household refrigerators and air conditioners;
- became familiar with the rules for using control and measuring instruments;
- learned to diagnose the main faults of electric motors and refrigeration equipment.
The modern equipment available in the workshops allowed the students to gain valuable practical experience and to better understand the specifics of their future profession.
The training placement became an important stage in the students’ professional development, helped consolidate their theoretical knowledge and develop new practical skills.
On 20 March 2026, the defence of the placement results took place. The students demonstrated a high level of preparation, creativity, responsibility and the ability to work in a team.
