Today the College held the first meeting in the series “Risks Associated with Explosive Objects”
Representatives of the international humanitarian organisation The HALO Trust in Ukraine, which carries out demining and educational activities, visited the students.
During the meeting, the participants learned:
- how to recognise a suspicious object or one resembling ammunition;
- what to do if one is found;
- how to distinguish dangerous areas;
- how to respond to official and unofficial warning signs;
- how to act if you have accidentally entered a potentially dangerous area.
Such knowledge is not just useful – it can save lives. We thank The HALO Trust for its important mission and for supporting the safety of young people.
