On 26 March, as part of the celebration of our college's 95th anniversary, a meeting took place at the Subject Committee for Food Technology and Chemistry between first- and second-year students of the Economics, Technology and Energy divisions and a representative of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Odesa Regional State Administration, a well-known and leading specialist in the protection and rational use of natural resources, Candidate of Sciences Maryna Borysivna Byzova. A topical subject was considered: “Natural Resource Potential and Environmental Protection of Odesa Region”.
It is impossible not to note that, as a result of Maryna Borysivna's work in our region, such well-known objects of the nature reserve fund of national significance were established by Decrees of the President of Ukraine as the Lower Dniester National Nature Park, the “Tuzla Lagoons” National Nature Park, the “Kuialnyk” National Nature Park, as well as many other objects of local significance.
We thank Maryna Borysivna, who, despite her busy schedule, finds the time and inspiration to pass on to students knowledge about nature and a caring attitude towards it.
