Recently, third-year students of specialty 181 Food Technology had a great opportunity to talk with a representative of modern business, a potential employer.
The students were visited by Halyna Serhiivna Diakova, technologist-administrator of the “Vatrushka” bakery chain and the “Yida love” canteens, and a graduate of the college. During the meeting she shared her own professional experience, spoke about the specifics of working in the field of food technology, the current requirements of employers for young specialists, and also about career growth opportunities in the industry.
The students learned about the conditions of work placements at enterprises, the prospects for further employment and the specifics of a technologist’s work in production. Practical advice on a successful start to a career and adaptation to real professional conditions aroused particular interest.
Such events are extremely important, as they contribute to the formation of professional competences and motivation to study, and help future specialists to better understand the requirements of the modern labour market.
