Excursion with students of the Energy Systems Division

On 20 February, an excursion took place with third-year students of the Energy Systems Division, groups 3MKh-58 and 3KV-09, specialties 142 Energy Engineering and 14 Electrical Engineering, educational and professional programmes “Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Compressor Machines and Units” and “Installation and Maintenance of Air Conditioning Systems”, to TOV “CEMENT”. Since autumn 2021, the cement plant has operated under a new brand – CEMARK. Design capacity is 550 thousand tonnes of cement, with a team of 80 employees.

To integrate the new business model, the base raw-material warehouse was reconstructed with the installation of a more energy-efficient crane, and new warehouses for finished products were built.

Today the Odesa cement plant supplies its products far beyond the region – to Kherson, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Kyiv regions – and Odesa cement is used to build the most important national infrastructure projects: wind farms, roads and grain terminals.

The company continues to invest in the development of the enterprise, in improving environmental indicators and in creating comfortable, safe working conditions for its employees.

In 2022, the Odesa cement plant completed the transition of production to an automatic 24/7 product dispatch mode.
