On 9 September 2026, the graduating Subject Committee for Computer Technologies and Software Engineering (Head of the Subject Committee Kryvchenko Yu.V.), with the support of the practical training sector (Deputy Director for Practical Training Berkan I.V.), organised an online meeting for students of the graduating groups of the Computer Systems Division in the specialty “Computer Engineering” with a representative of the companies “ASTRA KOM” / WinService, which cooperate with JSC “Kyivstar” as general contractors.
During the meeting, the students learned about the companies’ activities, the specifics of work in the telecommunications sector and opportunities for professional development. Particular attention was paid to the issue of completing a work placement at the enterprise, which is relevant for the graduating groups ahead of the practical training scheduled for November.
The companies’ representative spoke about opportunities for future specialists, the conditions of the placement, areas of work and prospects for further employment. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers regarding practical work, professional requirements and starting a career in their specialty.
Such meetings help to build cooperation between the educational institution and employers, help students to navigate the modern labour market better, gain practical experience and plan their further professional development.
