On 16 September, group tutor Kryvchenko Anastasiia and students of group 3KS-61 held a remote educational seminar on the topic “Bullying”.
The event took place as part of the All-Ukrainian Anti-Bullying Week, held from 16 to 20 September, and was aimed at creating a safe, friendly and tolerant educational environment.
During the seminar, the participants discussed what bullying is, what its main signs and types are, how to distinguish a conflict from systematic harassment, and how to act properly in a situation where a person has witnessed or suffered from bullying.
Particular attention was paid to the topic of cyberbullying, since a significant part of the communication of today’s young people takes place on social networks and messengers. The students talked about responsible communication on the internet, mutual respect and the need not to remain indifferent to the problems of others.
Such educational events help young people to better understand the importance of mutual support, respect for the individual and responsibility for their own words and actions.
There is no excuse for bullying. Respect, support and caring are the foundation of a safe educational environment.
